Privacy Policy

Brikvent is an inventory, POS, e-commerce and messaging platform operated by Webbriks ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you use our website (brikvent.com), merchant dashboard, storefronts and related services (the "Service"), and what we do with it.

For information that merchants and their customers put into the Service, the merchant decides why the data is collected and we process it on the merchant's behalf.

• Account information: name, business name, email address, mobile number and login credentials of merchants and their staff users.
• Business data: products, orders, customers, payments records and settings that merchants add to the Service.
• Messaging data: when a merchant connects WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger or Instagram, we receive the messages, attachments and delivery status sent to and from that account, together with the sender's name, profile handle and platform ID.
• Connection details: the identifiers of the connected WhatsApp number, Facebook Page or Instagram professional account, and the access token Meta issues to us. Tokens are stored encrypted.
• Usage and device data: log data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, used to keep the Service secure and working.

The unified inbox lets a merchant reply to customers from one place. It works only after a merchant signs in with Meta and chooses which WhatsApp number, Page or Instagram account to connect.

• We access only the accounts the merchant selects during connection.
• We use the permissions granted solely to receive, display, store and send messages for that merchant.
• We do not use messaging data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
• A merchant can disconnect an account at any time from Inbox → Channels in the dashboard. This stops message sync and deletes the stored access token.
• You can also remove Brikvent from your Facebook or Instagram settings under Business Integrations.

Use of Meta products is also subject to Meta's own terms and privacy policies.

• To provide, operate and support the Service, including processing orders and delivering messages.
• To authenticate users, prevent fraud and keep the Service secure.
• To send service notices such as account, billing and security messages.
• To fix problems, measure performance and improve the Service.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information. We share it only in these cases:

• Service providers that help us run the Service, such as hosting, storage, email, SMS and payment providers, under confidentiality and data protection obligations.
• Meta, when we send and receive messages through WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram on a merchant's behalf.
• Legal reasons, when required by law or to protect rights, safety and security.
• Business transfers, such as a merger or acquisition, with notice to affected users.

We keep information while an account is active and for as long as needed to provide the Service. After an account is closed we delete or anonymize its data after a reasonable period, except where we must keep it by law or for legitimate security and accounting purposes.

Disconnecting a messaging channel removes its access token but keeps past conversations until deletion is requested. See our data deletion page for how to request removal.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections, encrypted storage of messaging access tokens and access controls between merchants. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict some processing. If you are a customer of a merchant who uses Brikvent, you can contact that merchant or write to us and we will help route your request.

The Service is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the dashboard or by email.
